Pure WaterGlass, a $49.99 product that uses water from a pura alcohol-based water bottle to create a glass bottle that is 100% pure, is a small, glass-like bottle made from a mixture of pure water and a piro-alcoholic alcohol.
It comes in a single-serve bottle and comes in two sizes, one that can hold 1 liter and one that holds 4 liters.
It is available for purchase on Amazon and other online retailers.
When it was announced last year, Pure WaterBottles made headlines because of its use of pure, clean water to make the bottle, which it claimed is “an eco-friendly, environmentally-responsible and socially-conscious alternative to water.”
Pure Water, a spinoff of the popular brand Pure Water Bottle, debuted in the US last year and it is now available in more than 40 countries around the world.
Pure Water bottles have become an extremely popular product for consumers to purchase.
In 2016, more than $2 billion in Pure Water Bottles were sold in the United States alone, according to the brand’s website.
The company also recently partnered with the Chinese brand Baidu to create Pure Water Cloud, a wearable, rainwater-monitoring product that could be used to measure rainwater runoff and reduce pollution.
“It’s an incredibly exciting opportunity for us to be able to offer a product that has been developed in China, is environmentally friendly and is socially responsible,” Pure Water founder and CEO Josh Bostock said in a statement to Quartz.
“Our goal is to be one of the first to make a truly sustainable product for the global market.”
